Open the story in TikTok, tap Share, and choose Copy Link. Stories expire, so don't bookmark this for later. If the 24 hours are up, the story is gone for everyone, including this tool.
2. Paste it into the box above.

3. Save the video or photo.
Stories can be either. Use "Download MP4 (No Watermark)" for video, save the photo at source resolution, or pick "Download MP3 Audio". Whatever the story contains, the result card shows it.
Why stories need their own page
The 24-hour clock is real.
This is the one hard limit of story downloading, and it comes from TikTok, not from us. A story that has expired can't be fetched by anyone. The file simply no longer exists on TikTok's servers. If you want it, download it while it's live.
Stories don't appear in profiles.
Unlike regular posts, stories live in a separate tray and don't show up on the creator's video grid. That makes their links easy to lose. Copy the link the moment you see a story worth keeping.

The result card shows exactly what the story contains. A photo story won't show a video button and a muted video won't show a "Download MP3 Audio" button. What you see is what's actually there.
Frequently asked questions
How long do TikTok stories last?
24 hours from posting, then they're deleted automatically. There's no extension, no archive, and no way to view them after expiry, which is why downloading has to happen while the story is still live.
Can I download a story after it expires?
No. Once TikTok deletes it, the file is gone from their servers and no tool can retrieve it. Anyone promising expired-story downloads is not being straight with you.
What's the difference between a story and a regular TikTok video?
Stories are temporary (24h), don't appear on the creator's profile grid, and are meant for casual, in-the-moment sharing. Regular videos are permanent posts. The download process is identical: paste the link, hit Download.
Can I download someone's private story?

Do story downloads have watermarks?
No. Like regular posts, we fetch the source file, so story videos save without TikTok's watermark stamp.
The story has music I like — can I keep just the audio?
Yes. If the story includes a soundtrack, a "Download MP3 Audio" button appears on the result card, working exactly like our TikTok MP3 downloader.
Is saving someone's story legal?
